Tampa’s First Suburb
Welcome to Tampa Heights — a historic, diverse, and vibrant neighborhood located just north of Downtown Tampa.
Our boundaries are framed by I-275 to the south, the Hillsborough River to the west, and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to the north. Founded in the 1880s as Tampa’s first suburb, our story continues to be written today.
With bungalow-lined roads, beautiful parks, and a thriving mix of award-winning coffee shops, breweries, and restaurants, Tampa Heights is a great place to live, work, and play.
Our Mission
The mission of the Tampa Heights Civic Association is to strengthen the neighborhood by fostering civic pride, supporting residents and local businesses, preserving historic character, and advocating thoughtful growth, affordable homeownership, and community-focused development.
