About our Parks

Morgan Street Park- Fernando Rodriguez Mesa Morgan Street Park
On most days you can find children playing and parents enjoying the serene surroundings of this quaint park located in Historic Tampa Heights.

The park adopted last year by Bank of America as one of their environment projects is what you would expect in a community like Tampa Heights.

This history as we know it is that there was once a large home on this property and the last remaining family donated the property to be kept as a park for the Tampa Heights community.

Highland Avenue Park- Robert G. Gardner, Sr. Highland Avenue Park
According to Tampa's History Center, not much is known about Highland Avenue Park other than is was once a street car stop.

Today, the West side community of Tampa Heights knows it as one of our greatest assets.

This park serves as the heartbeat of our community and will be will served garnishing the name of someone that lived each day for Tampa Heights.

We would like to thank Bank of America once again for their contribution to the clean-up and painting of the park's retention wall last year, as well as the signage for Robert G. Gardner, Sr.
